Yesterday was Mah Jongg Wednesday for the OMs and S1 hosted – beautifully, as always. And although I didn’t stay for the entire afternoon, I must say that I was very, very lucky. I played 4 games and had Mah Jongg 4 times! WOW!! S2 is out west and so D joined us, which is always a delight.

I actually didn’t think I would ever get to Mah Jongg with this hand because with the BBB exposure, I had a feeling the 1Bam would not get thrown – and besides, there already was one out there and I was playing a risky game hoping to get a pair. BTW, this is S1’s newest acquisition – a magnificent bone and bamboo set that she purchased from X. It is truly beautiful with the most unusual and gorgeous 9 Dots – I hope I have a picture of those 9 Dots to show you…

Luck was on my side – out came that 1 Bam and that was that!Then it was time for lunch – hurrah! – and S1’s table looked so beautiful with those fabulous spring tulips. And dead center under those tulips was a bowl filled with the most amazing bread from Maison Kayser – oh, my!Lunch was delish!  A fabulous smoked turkey, grapes, and Jarlsberg cheese salad and a wonderful green tossed salad. S1 really had a couple of home runs here!And now back to my winning streak… another consecutive hand…I’ve mentioned this before but I just love this hand:And this is another really fun hand to play:
