I think you will get a big kick out of today’s posting.
Jill Sobule, a Denver-born songwriter/ guitarist/singer clearly gets her talent and sense of humor from her mom, Elaine. Here is Jill singing with Elaine:
And here is Jonathan Mann, a songwriter and YouTube personality known as “the song a day man,” speaking at TEDMED:
With the help of Jonathan Mann, Elaine wrote a very funny song about losing all of her Mah Jongg-playing friends. Click here and watch this video – I think you will be laughing as hard as I do every time I hear this song!
As background, Jill wrote, “My friend, Jonathan Mann, writes a song a day. While at TEDMED, he convinced my mom, Elaine, to write song #1198 with him. My mom is healthy and very ‘with it’. Some of her Mahjong friends…not so much. If any youngsters (under the age of 70) have a game, please let me know.”
BTW, Elaine lives in Denver should you happen to know some Mah Jongg players who are looking for a game!
They are not dead …
They have just jumped over the wall.

If I were in Denver, I’d get a game together for Elaine!
The sad part is…it happens just as she sings about it.
