Mah Jongg is not just a game. It has become a part of my life that allows me to entertain my Mah Jongg-playing friends, cook great meals to serve to them and test my mental skills during our game play (which, hopefully, is often).
This is so interesting. I pointed this out to one of my students this week. She SEEMINGLY belligerently tossed tiles across the table with every discard. She stopped and I think it was a bit offensive to her but not as bad as how she tossed her tiles!
A nice reminder… a series of etiquette reminders would be a good thing!

Same goes for throwing tiles at other players: don’t do it — unless someone is misbehaving.

Ha! Well, the only one who could ever misbehave would be me!

I do find it annoying when people throw their tiles across the table. Not only is it rude but it can chip the tiles. Not nice!
