I was feeling really awful tonight – this is the worst allergy season EVER – when I received a call from my doorman telling me that there was a flower delivery for me. I couldn’t imagine who was sending me flowers this evening and boy, oh boy, was I ever surprised to receive the most beautiful arrangement from…my current Mah Jongg class! A beautiful card was included: “To the BEST Mah Jongg teacher from your grateful students”

I really cannot tell you how touched I am by this truly extravagant and beautiful gesture from twelve wonderful women. It has been such an honor to teach this group of women and I look forward to playing Mah Jongg with them all for many years to come.
