Tomorrow’s the big day for me to appear at the St. Louis Jewish Book Festival. I hope you can join me for my presentation, book signing, and lots of games of Mah Jongg!

Mah Jongg is not just a game. It has become a part of my life that allows me to entertain my Mah Jongg-playing friends, cook great meals to serve to them and test my mental skills during our game play (which, hopefully, is often).

My friend Carol and I met Ann Israel when she came to speak at the Southampton Library, Long Islnd NY this past summer.
Ann presented the most wonderful program, and speaking with her was like reuniting with an old friend! Ann and Gregg Swain’s book ‘Mah Jongg The Art of the Game’ is so beautiful.
I wish I was in the St. Louis area, because this sounds like a wonderful day.
Ann, I hope something similar will be planned for the Queens-Nassau-Suffolk LI or NYC area as well,
(no, I am not writing as their publicist! I just love their book, and MJ history and art)
