MORNING MAHJ…

Nothing like hosting a brunch and lots of Mah Jongg in the morning. What could be a better way to start the day? IMG_1422And what better way to end the day with this self-picked and really fun Mah Jongg hand of     FFFF DDDD DD DDDD.

 I was so lucky to pick those three Jokers because no one was discarding Flowers!IMG_1423

    What beautiful tiles; I’ve never seen jokers like that. Your breakfast is what we’re having for dinner tonight. We do it about once a week. Yummy. The only difference is that we don’t get great bagels in DE.

    Yes, I do love this set. It’s actually hand-carved from the manufacturer Cardinal and is from the late ’60s. Each tile is a tri-level tile – the middle layer on each tile is clear lucite. And yes, NY bagels are so yummy! Incidentally, so are Detroit bagels! They say it’s the water. Good thing they aren’t made in Flint…:(
