Our dear friend Dee Dee sent in a great question while she was about to pass the second right in the Charleston. She wrote: “We are in the Charleston and about to go to the 2nd right – no matter which configuration you consider, there are five tiles.”
Here is what her hand looked like:
Ultimately, here is what happened: “Eventually I did get MJ but I went with the Consecutive Numbers hand of 6666 (Dots) 777 (Bams) 8888 (Dots) DDD (Green); I drew my last Green Dragon on the next to last tile in the hot wall.”
How would you advised her as to what tiles to pass on the second right and which hand(s) to work on?
I would pass the 4 dot, 8 crack and a blind pass. At this point I would be thinking of a hand in the odd numbers category.

Same pass. I love to play this hand, but I have trouble keeping it straight in my brain. I don’t know why. Am I the only one with this problem on this hand?

I guess I would have passed the the 5s and the four, but would not have been confident.

Way to go Dee Dee! Knowing me, I would pass 4 Dot and 7 & 8 Crak. Saving 5, 6, 77 Bams & 88 Dots – hoping for 9 Cracks for the last line of Consecutive Run. A lot to work on but I sure have fun trying!!
