I received this message and photo from Barbara, one of my oldest friends in California…with less than a month to go before the 2016 card arrives, she completed the big hand of FF 2015 2015 2015 – congratulations to her! How many of you were able to Mah Jongg with this hand…you still have a few weeks left before the new card arrives!
A major coup – I made this hand. I wanted to do it before the new card comes.
Our wonderful friend Gwen sent me the following message about a Kent Stetson Mah Jongg handbag created by a Pawtucket, Rhode Island artisan! It is so realistic looking (and expensive!) that I actually thought there was a Mah Jongg set of tiles inside the clutch!
Gorgeous asymmetrical clutch featuring a playful Mahjong set. Hand crafted to perfection. All bags come with a removable cross-body chain, logo dust bag, clear vinyl inner pocket, and are individually signed. Price includes shipping.
Dimensions: 12 x 7 x 1
Proudly handmade in the USA.
Individually signed by the Artist.
Well, the celebrations for the Chinese New Year finally ended on February 22nd so I am definitely more than a few days late. However, I wanted you to see the fun celebration that Toby Salk gave for her Mah Jongg students and players. Wish I could have been there!
I did go to a Chinese New Year’s dinner here in NYC but didn’t get any photos. The chef’s wife sent me some pictures of the food which I cannot find now…maybe she will send them again however, I must say that it was spectacular!
