ALL THINGS MAH JONGG…

The weather has been so beautiful over the past few days (especially during those two days I was stuck in jury duty!) – I suspect many of you have been taking advantage of this great weather by going to the beach. Just in case you are in the market for a special beach towel, check out this one, available from the American Mah-Jongg Association:

Lois Madow, the founder of the AMJA, is offering this towel right now at a reduced price so, if you are interested, buy it while it is still available.

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL…

I had to go to jury duty yesterday (and will be back there again today) so this posting will be brief.

My friend D sent these photos of her daughter playing Mah Jongg during their family vacation in the Galapagos. Her daughter was only 12 at the time the pictures were taken  – she just turned 13 on Wednesday so happy birthday to Helen! – but she is already quite a pro at the game. And, based on these pictures, a lucky player to boot – check out all those Jokers – 7 of them!!! – on this Consecutive Run hand of 55 666 7777 888 99 (they were using the 2013 card on this trip)!
