TRY TO READ THIS WITHOUT SINGING IT…BET YOU CAN’T!!!

Dottie M has written the cutest little poem (song?!!) and has generously allowed me to share it with everyone – we are in the middle of a nasty Nor’easter here in New York and so I thought something to bring a smile – along with a reminder that a cup of tea would be just perfect right now – is what we all need on this wet, windy, and chilly day…enjoy!

Dottie’s Teapottie!

I’m a little teapot short and stout
Here is my handle, here is my spout.

When the players come to play Mah Jongg,
I’ll make the tea and not get it wrong.

As they sip the tea so strong and hot,
They’ll see what tiles they have…or not.

Some days I may be a bit naughty,
And make a surprise for Dottie.

A little tequila, a little lime,
A splash of Contreau would be just fine.

The players might get just a bit tipsy,
I might need to call Gina the gypsy!

So that is my story, I love to serve,
Come play with us….if you have the nerve!!!

Thanks, Dottie!!! And if any of you are looking for a similar Mah Jongg teapot, go to http://tinyurl.com/lt2dc9g at Hamakor.com.

BTW, for those of you who send me comments about trepidations concerning attending Mah Jongg tournaments, Karen Gooen’s book, Searching for Bubbe Fischer, addresses all of those worries.
