From my dear friend, the wonderful Toby Salk in the East Bay area of California, comes news of a Mah Jongg tournament for a very good cause. Here are the details:
Come to our Mah Jongg tournament to raise funds for Strive for Change Foundation, in partnership with the Children’s Support League.

$55 PLAYER REGISTRATION FEE (Donation to Children’s Support League and Strive For Change)

TOURNAMENT DAY SCHEDULE…..
9:00 – 10:00am Doors open, registration begins, breakfast
10:00 – 11:00am Round ONE to be played
11:00 – Noon Round TWO to be played
Noon – 1:00pm Lunch is served
1:00 – 2:00pm Round THREE to be played
2:00 – 2:30pm Prizes awarded, Auction and Raffle winners announced
The day will also include……
A prize for the best Mah Jong themed Costume (optional)
A Mah Jong Museum with many gorgeous vintage sets on display
A Silent Auction including an “Instant Wine Cellar”, handmade Mah Jong
Jewelry and much more
A Raffle with the chance to win a vintage Mah Jong set of your own!
