HOW DO THEY DO IT?

On Tuesday, April 15th, the Science Channel will air the program “How Do They Do It” at 11 a.m. ET. One of the features on that episode is how Mah Jongg tiles are made.

Here are two pictures of a master carver, the beautiful Didi Lee Gallo, as she is hard at work creating new masterpieces. For a closer look at what Didi can produce for you, go to her exquisite website at Red Coin Mah Jong.

The program segment should be fascinating – it will be so interesting to see how these artisans carve their beautiful tiles although I suspect none will be as magnificent as those produced by Didi.

MISSING TILES? WORRY NO MORE!

The other day I wrote about Didi Lee Gallo, the very gifted artist who will restore tiles or carve new ones to match missing tiles from a set but I neglected to give you her contact information. Dee has a beautiful website showcasing her amazing artistry. You can reach her at http://www.redcoinmahjong.com/.

Also, the cover to my new book has been revised (thankfully) and now has the correct title and a credit to our wonderful photographer, Michel Arnaud:
